WORLD BEHIND MY WALL

People think I'm strong but really, underneath this shell lies two very different personalities. Ever wondered why you could never figure me out? That's because you're not seeing the two personalities as being separate from each other. One of them is tough, bitter, disillusioned, swears, and doesn't want anything to do with insufferable bloody idiots; The other one is innocent, forever hopeful, idealistic, loves fairytales and looks forward to finding the perfect man. Both of them know that the perfect man is: 1) NOT an idiot. 2) Enjoys and appreciates their sense of humour. 3) Can handle her mood swings. 4) Able to keep up with her or, better yet, be one step ahead of her sometimes.

Hahndorf trip

Sunday, June 1, 2008 x 1:06 PM

I went to Hahndorf (finally) on Friday with Nicol. The bus trip made us both a bit queasy but it didn't matter coz we were catching up. Nicol told me about her brother Devon's 21st birthday and how he got to ride in a Ferrari. The Ferrari belonged to a man who owned TWO Ferraris man!! Damn loaded guy! Haha... The journey up the hills took about 40 minutes and when we stepped off the bus - we got that sense of tranquility and peace just from standing there! The first shop we saw and walked into was a chocolate shop called "Chocolate". How obvious is that? LOL I absolutely adored all the chocolates they got there! Fantastic and yummy looking! There was even a product called "Naughty and Nice", which were two pens filled with chocolate and strawberry cream that you could use to draw on your partner's body. Heh heh.. that's why it's called "Naughty and Nice"! :P
We had lunch at a German restaurant which was really bustling and the waitresses were struggling to serve everyone as quickly as they could. We waited for our hot apple strudel for 15 minutes but that was alright coz we were quite full from the squid schnitzel so it gave us time to digest the food first. :)
Afterwards, we went on looking in the shops. We came across this shop selling Scottish coat of arms and mugs and emblems and generally Scottish stuff. Nicol bought a keychain for the Forbes family for her dad coz he is really proud of being Scottish! I saw luncheonmeat's family name too.
We had to leave quite early (at 3.30pm) coz Nicol was going out to dinner with Scott's (her bf) family at 5.30pm. We sat on the wooden bench and waited for the bus to come. When it did, it just went past us without stopping! We looked at each other and then at the bus again. Oh, the bus had stopped about a few feet ahead. THAT was the bus stop! The sign was completely blocked by a tree and we didn't see it at all! We both felt so silly and started laughing as we walked towards the bus. Luckily the driver didn't say anything... :)
We had a great time together and plan on going back there soon!
