6 months in Oz

Wooohhoooo! Can't believe that I've already been in Oz for exactly half a year now! Time really does fly when you are busy, busy, busy! :)
Okay, let me see, what was special about yesterday?? Oh, not much, just that it was my mom's birthday, I'd left Msia for 6 months already, and two guys wrote me poems. lol One of them was just a person on myspace who was from London and the other is (of course) my bro KJ.
First poem: (by the guy from London)
summers stays blue but the winter fades it away
the dark clouds above, pour rain on a once shining day
with the smile so sweet as yours
my nite becomes lighter through the bright sounds of your voice
speaking to me about the climate change in the weather
explaining why the winter is getting colder
and how the summer stays for longer
but it all doesnt matter
because your display pic charms my ladder
so feed these words in your mouth
and digest just them, metabolising every syllable of my sound
these words wont turn to poo
they will provide you
with energy to last you til the new moon
so sleep tight when you do
dont fall asleep during those lectures you have to attend soon
and with this i will leave
youll remember me, when i distract you during tomorrows boring daily routines
have a goodnite, and so sweet with pleasent dreams!!!!
Second poem: (by KJ)
Malaysia has stubbornly tried
to keep a bright, beautifiul gem inside
its restless and foaming land
Too late it knew
alas nothing could turn you
nor rip the courage gripped in your hand
A tragedy you carry
and desperately you parry
the blade of grief in your soul
You struggle and strive
to flourish and thrive
until you are once again blessfully whole
My brave little sister
whenever your strength blisters
beneath the raving and searing sun
Forever take heart
alone, but never apart
your brother will always come
In spirt and mind
lost in the winds of time
i can be your anchor, armour and sword
I offer my boulder
in the shape of my shoulder
i will forver be true to my word
Your mother looks over
your innocent shoulder
smiling always at your side
I offer my shield
till doubtful demons yield
together we will push back the tide.
Now, you guys be the judge. Who's the better writer? The London guy or KJ? Can you believe that the London guy kept saying that his poem was better? I didn't know how to break it to him that he wasn't the better writer at all...
Today:
6 months in Oz
6 months of knowing Alice
Joe Jonas's birthday
Meeting up with my bro KJ in less than 11 hours (but who's counting? lol)
OMG I'm hyper!! One thing I won't need today is a cup of coffee... :D
